Gloria and John Golden

Gloria Golden, SUNY Ulster alumni and her husband John are representatives of the Gordon L. Kidd, Jr. Memorial Scholarship and the Claire Rose Kidd Memorial Scholarship. These scholarships were created in memory of Gloria’s siblings, Claire and Gordon. Gloria has been an organist at St. James Church, served on the boards of the Hyde Park Free Library and Dutchess County Heart Fund and been active at St. James Church and Hyde Park Meals on Wheels. John is a World War II Army Air Force Veteran. He formed Golden & Golden Building Company, Inc. John is a life member of the hyde Park Fire Department and has served on boards for Hudson Rive Housing, Winnikee Land Trust, Northern Dutchess Hospital, Northern Dutchess Foundation, Wells Manor, FDR Roosevelt Educational Foundation, Hyde Park Crossroads and Hyde Park Planning Board. Gloria and John have been SUNY Ulster donors since 1999.
