Professor Barbara A. Maxwell Memorial Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was established in loving memory of a gifted teacher, supportive mentor, and beloved aunt. Barbara Maxwell was a Professor of Nursing at SUNY Ulster, and she dedicated her life to educating nurses, with emphasis on medical knowledge, clinical skills and compassionate patient care. With those ideals in mind this memorial scholarship was created. The scholarship will be awarded to a returning full-time nursing student who demonstrated strong clinical skills and compassionate treatment of patients, with at least a 3.0 GPA. The recipient will be selected from the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. applicant pool by the benefactors and Nursing Faculty. Est.
