Karen Zentner Memorial Scholarship

Karen Zentner was a 22-year-old Ulster County Community College student, engaged to be married at the time of her death. A thoughtless prank caused an otherwise routine drive home from her fiance’s home in Long Island to be the incident of her death. Karen’s parents created a scholarship fund which allows the Ulster Community College Foundation, Inc. to give an award each year to a graduating senior who plans to enter SUNY Ulster as a freshman.
