Margaret H. Prescott Memorial Scholarship

The Margaret H. Prescott Memorial Scholarship was formed in memory of Margaret’s dedication to social and economic justice by her husband David P. Prescott of New Mexico and their daughters, Kate and Liz who are residents and active community members in Ulster County. The endowed scholarship will be awarded annually to a SUNY Ulster student enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program, attending full or part-time who demonstrates financial need. The scholarship is designed to support diversity in the veterinary technology field and preference may be given to students who come from diverse backgrounds, such as being the first in their family to attend college, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) or the LQBTQ community.
