Helen M. Roedell Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship, established in 1999 by the Roedell family, is in memory of a woman who confronted her illness of Lymphoma with determination and courage. Mrs. Roedell was a committed member of the medical community who worked at Benedictine Hospital, until illness forced her retirement. “Helen will be remembered as a quiet, refined woman who touched so many with her kind and thoughtful ways.” Recipients of the Helen M. Roedell Memorial Scholarship will be returning SUNY Ulster Nursing Majors who are enrolled full-time. Recipients must demonstrate financial need. Est. 1999
