Mim Fyllingen Brown Memorial Scholarship

Mim Brown spent her entire 32 year career at SUNY Ulster working in the Financial Aid Office. As Director, she supervised a staff of counselors, but would always find time to personally help students with unique issues. She helped hundreds, if not thousands, of students secure the money needed to make a college education monetarily possible. Mim herself was the first in her family to attend college, hence she was especially interested in helping others who were first generation college students. Gone too soon in her life, this scholarship will provide for her greatest joy: making higher education accessible to all. Est. 2014
