Vincent Leone Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by family and friends in memory of Vincent. He served in the US Army Air Corps, and later operated several businesses in the bakery, clothing, and restaurant industries while raising his family in Ulster County. When not working, he enjoyed racing hydroplane boats and performing with his jazz quartet. This scholarship will be given annually to a SUNY Ulster nursing student who demonstrates an aptitude for caring for the older adult with complex health care needs. Preference will be given to students who have worked with patients with dementia, or who plan to work with the geriatric population. Est. 2014
