Theodore P. Bleffert Entrepreneurial Scholarship
A German immigrant, Theodore P. Bleffert was drawn to the United States to pursue the American Dream: freedom to set his own path to success through hard work and high ethical standards. The proudest day of his life was when he and his young family took the oath of citizenship. He possessed the true entrepreneurial spirit, taking risks and perceiving change as an opportunity for greatness, rather than a threat. Mr. Bleffert firmly believed that one’s career should be “a labor of love.” This scholarship is for a full or part-time, entering, returning, or transferring student enrolled in the Business and Entrepreneurial Studies program at SUNY Ulster, or who is enrolled in the Business Administration program with a career goal of becoming an entrepreneur. Preference will be given to a student who has a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
