Phebe Aeberli Memorial Scholarship

The Phebe Aeberli Memorial Scholarship was established by friends and family members to honor the memory of an alumna of Ulster County Community College. A social worker for the Federal Farm Labor Bureau working with migrant labor, she also taught social work at SUNY Ulster and worked for the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene for 25 years, retiring in 1991. She was an active volunteer of the YWCA, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and the Cabrini Home. This scholarship will be awarded to an entering or returning student who is pursuing a career in social work. Preference is given to a student who is engaged in community service. Est. 2004
