Mica J. Stanmyer Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by many friends and family members to honor the memory of a SUNY Ulster student, whose life ended in a tragic accident. He was a 2003 honors graduate of Rondout Valley High School where he played soccer and tennis. Mica excelled academically, was a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the Synthesis Club. He was well liked and respected by his peers and his faculty alike. This award is made to a student who pursues a course of study in Environmental Studies and must demonstrate a commitment to environmental activism. Est. 2004
