President's Challenge Scholarship - Rondout Valley

The President’s Challenge Scholarship is open to current 8th grade, first-generation, college-bound students upon graduation from high school. Selected students will receive a full two-year scholarship to SUNY Ulster in the fall of their graduating year. These students have the unique opportunity to be paired with a mentor at their high school. They will also be able to build relationships with their sponsors and SUNY Ulster through PASS events that are held at the high school. PASS stands for Parents, Administrators, Sponsors and Students and are designed for the benefit of the student to build relationships with their sponsors. Lastly, recipients will build relationships with SUNY Ulster by visiting the campus to attend classes, take tours and get college IDs.
